Hey guys! I’m working on more videos to help you think through all things wedding photography. (Also I’ve done a little intro about myself and my work that you can see on my homepage).
My last video was about how to look your best in photos and this week’s video takes that even deeper and gives you some ideas for how to choose a wedding photographer that’s right for you.
There are so many photographers out there that it can feel crazy hard to find the one that’s right for you. I go over it more in depth in the video above but here’s a summary of the main points to think about.
Find A Photographer You Connect With
Wedding days turn most brides into a ball of lovely, nervous energy so it’s realllllly important to find a wedding photographer that you feel comfortable with. You’ll literally be spending 8 hours with them so it definitely helps if you like them. ;)
Look Through Their Blog And Website
I love me some instagram but it’s notorious for just being a highlight reel of everyone’s lives and businesses. To get a better idea of your potential wedding photographer’s work, make sure you check out their blog posts. They have a chance to tell more of a story there and you have a chance to make sure it’s a way that you resonate with.
It’s Not About The Money
It’s important to have a budget for your wedding and prioritize what’s important to you. But all wedding photographers are not created equal and there is a lot more to our job than just pushing a button. So when you’re choosing who will be creating the story of your day, make sure you’re making your decision on more than just price. You usually get what you pay for.
Trust Your Photographer
Once you’ve booked the photographer that is the perfect fit for your wedding, make sure you let them know that you trust their artistry and love their work. Like anyone else, when we know you like what we do, we will go above and beyond to do our very best for you.
