Reading books like To Kill A Mockingbird always made me wonder how a southern tomboy like Scout Finch would have grown up and what she would have chosen for her wedding. Instead of big Antebellum mansions and glitzy southern belle style, I think tomboy girls like Scout or Hushpuppy would have decided on comfy, simple dresses and details full of family sentiment and good times. That’s the inspiration for this shoot, that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty, and I’m so thankful for all the amazing people who made it come to life.
